The preacher’s most basic role is to teach and to defend the truth of God’s Word. But in our post-modern, post-Christian culture, recent generations are taught that their preferences and feelings define what is true for them.
How can Pastors engage post-modern people and preach the truth to generations who do not believe in absolute truth? What do you need to know to communicate and defend the truth in this post-truth world?
This conference
- Illuminates the shift in our culture to postmodernity and what that means;
- Shows how that shifts impacts churches, pastors, preaching, and church members;
- Advocates for Pastors to recommit to their role as the primary Christian apologist in their church;
- Provides ideas for Pastors to practice apologetic ministries in the local church.
Specifically for Pastors but may include Deacons, Elders, and other church leaders. I’ve taught this conference for Pastors in continuing education contexts.
Approximately 2-3 hours. Adaptable. Allow for Q/A.
